Turn a skill into a fixed offer

Describe the customer, deliverable, turnaround time, included revisions and required inputs. Fixed offers are easier to compare and reduce misunderstanding. Examples include a one-page landing page, five edited short videos or a technical website audit.

Create a sample that resembles the paid result while removing confidential client information.

Qualify the project before accepting it

Ask about the business goal, audience, deadline, existing assets and approval process. Put the final scope, price and payment milestones in writing. Do not begin with unclear access permissions or requests that violate a platform’s rules.

Use separate accounts, strong passwords and the minimum access required when working with customer systems.

Build repeat business

Deliver organized files, a short handover note and an explanation of what is outside the scope. Ask permission before using work in a portfolio. Follow up only when useful rather than sending frequent promotional messages.

Templates and internal checklists improve consistency, but each client’s facts and approvals still need human review.
