Common scam patterns
Warning signs include guaranteed results, requests for cryptocurrency or irreversible transfers, fake winning slips, edited chat screenshots, countdown pressure and claims that only a few places remain.
Some groups publish several conflicting predictions in separate channels, delete the losing versions and display only the winner. Others ask for a second payment after the first alleged tip fails.
Do not buy, test or redistribute the claim
Sending a small payment still exposes personal and financial information and can lead to repeated demands. Do not recruit others or publish an unsupported accusation against an athlete.
Preserve the account name, URL, payment request, timestamps and original messages without editing them. Avoid downloading unknown files.
Suspicion and proof are different
Real competition manipulation is investigated by regulators, sports bodies, operators and law enforcement using multiple sources. A price move, unusual result or social-media rumor alone is not proof.
Public accusations can harm innocent people and interfere with an investigation. Report evidence through confidential official channels.
Report and protect your accounts
Report the seller to the platform, payment provider and relevant national fraud or gambling authority. If money or credentials were sent, contact the financial provider promptly and change reused passwords.
